The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) is seeking an Advanced Practice Professional leader to serve as Medical Director for Post-Acute Care, overseeing clinical operations and care delivery within our 78-bed post-acute and skilled nursing facility at the Alaska Native Medical Center campus in Anchorage.

About the Role
The Medical Director will provide clinical and administrative leadership for post-acute services, ensuring high-quality, coordinated care for patients transitioning from hospital to post-acute settings. This provider leader will partner with interdisciplinary teams to strengthen care delivery, quality outcomes, and operational performance.
This position offers a balanced role with approximately 50% clinical practice and 50% administrative leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Provide medical oversight for post-acute and skilled nursing services
Lead development and implementation of facility goals, priorities, and strategic initiatives
Partner with clinical and operational leaders to improve quality, safety, and care coordination
Guide clinical protocols, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance
Support interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery
Help shape the continued development of post-acute care services within ANMC

Qualifications
Requirements: Advanced Practice Provider Board Certification through the AANP, ANCC or NCCPA. 3-5 Years of relevant experience managing or directing in Long Term care, Post Acute Care, or Skilled Nursing facility operations. Will work 50% as a clinician and 50% as an administrator
