The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) provides a full range of services emphasizing quality, timeliness, and the advancement of the Veterans Affairs (VA) mission. The CRNA practices to the full extent of their education, training, and certification. Core functions are outlined in the clinical privileges or scope of practice that correspond with this position and determined locally within the limits of the individual's state license and the local VA Medical Center (VAMC) bylaws.
