The Assistant Nurse Manager is the designated supervisor authority on the unit, in conjunction with the Nurse Manager. He/she is responsible and accountable for 24/7 operations of the unit. The Assistant Nurse Manager ensures that subordinate personnel provide timely nursing care which complies with Standards of Clinical Practice. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
