Duke GI seeks two general gastroenterologists to join our community-based practice at Sovah Health in Danville, VA. These are community positions with a mixture of outpatient and inpatient clinical duties.The practice will be based at the medical center which has an independent endoscopy suite with 3 rooms with new Olympus scopes and supported by anesthesia service. The practice has a strong referral base with more than 50 primary care and other referring providers. There is also strong support from General Surgery, Hospital Medicine and a seasoned GI physician at our sister-hospital in Martinsville. Call expectations are 10 nights per month. The positions offer an opportunity to teach through Sovah Healths internal medicine and family practice residency programs.Sovah
