James A Haley VA Geriatrics and Extended Care (GEC) Service is looking for a Board Certified Geriatrician who will be working as an Home Based Primary Care (HBPC) Physician. The HBPC Physician is academically and clinically prepared to perform a broad range of home based patient medical care utilizing evidence based medicine while respecting patient goals and values. The HBPC physician serves as team leader for all the HBPC program teams, which currently includes: HBPC, HBTC, and MFH. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
