Clinical Nurse Specialist - Advanced Practitioner RN Diabetes Education
The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) - Advanced Practice RN (APRN) focuses their practice on a certain segment of the population or on a specific medical specialty. An APRN is an expert clinician in a specialized area of nursing practice. The specialized area may be identified in terms of a population, setting, or clinical subspecialty. The CNS provides diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of patients. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
